My 1st trip

I went on my first trip this weekend to Colorado! Mommy and Daddy's friends Brian and Christa got married in Denver and Mommy and I flew there and met up with Daddy (he flew in from a business trip in Tennesee). The airport and airplane were a new and exciting experience for me!(So exciting that I slept the whole way!) After Mommy and I got there and picked up the rental car we drove to see more friends Heather, Greg and Hailey then picked up Daddy from the airport. My sleeping schedule was so messed up! Everytime I would wake up to play, they would put me back in the car and I would fall back to sleep! Mommy, Daddy and I went to the Aqaurium on Saturday and had a blast then went to the wedding that night. I was all dressed up and didn't want to miss anything. Mommy said I was cranky but she kept tring to make me fall asleep! Monday we went to see Batman, it was a little scary so I went to sleep and missed all the scary parts!

Tummy time

Tonight I was playing on my tummy while Bella and Biscuit were dancing around me, Mommy was getting us ready to go to Colorado (our 1st trip!) and Daddy was packing to go on a business trip. Then when all the comotion stopped and my tummy was full we unwound with a classic movie; The Great Outdoors! Very funny!

The Newest Member of "The Great Danes"

Mommy and Daddy let me join in on their game of Rock Band this afternoon! I tried the guitar and the drums but I think I like singing the best. I squeeked along with the music the best I could for as long as I could then gave up and went to play with Uncle Jonny and helped him look for a house!

A few of my favorite things!

When I agree to give up lap time, and there are no other shoulders,arms, chins or noses to suck on, I could be convinced to play in the bouncee seat Uncle Brian and Aunt Traci gave me or the swing that Uncle Pat and Aunt Paula got me. They both add nice additional seating to the dinner table. I hate it when Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Jonny put me in my pack-and-play when they eat! I don't like to be able to hear them and not see them! Plus, I like to stick my tongue out at Bella and Biscuit, cause they are not allowed at the table! I like the jungle theme to them, maybe Daddy will let me go to Costa Rica next year with him if he goes scuba diving!

I'm 4 weeks old!

Wow it was a busy day! Grandpa and Mommy did lots of small projects around the house while grandma loved on me and played with me all day! I spent the afternoon practicing holding my head up all by myself! Then I played in my bouncy seat while Mommy and Grandma scrap-booked and printed out lots of pictures for Grandma to show all her friends at home! Then when Daddy got home we all went to Cold Stone Creamery where everyone got really good ice cream (except for me)and used my birthday as an excuse for the calories! It's ok, I was up all night fussing and carrying on, to pay them back!

Grandma and Grandpa come to visit

We made our first trip to the airport today to pick up Grandma and Grandpa! They came just to see me and they brought lots of presents from all Mommy's friends in Arizona (Grandma tells me that is a long way from here!) They were all very cute outfits, one was homemade, and a touchy feely book and a new toy! Grandma picked up an ASU outfit for me and Mommy taught me my first cheer. GO DEVILS! Anyway, we spent the afternoon at the grocery store and showing them all my cool new stuff from all my new friends. We showed them what we had started in my room and what we had planned. Then Grandma nad Grandpa loved on me and helped give me a bath until I fell a sleep. It was such a nice day!

Playing with Daddy

I love it when Daddy comes home from work and takes me from Mommy to play with me and make funny faces at me! Yesterday he came home with roses for Mommy and me, they were orange and yellow and absolutely beautiful! Then he laid on the couch and snuggled with me and gave me lots of kisses. The best ever!

My 1st Bath

So, as it turns out, I am not that fond of my new bathtub. It looked like a lot more fun then it really was. The water was nice and warm to begin with but I was laying on top of it so I quickly got chilly. While Mommy was washing me and Daddy was taking pictures of me, Biscuit ate my glow-in-the-dark rubber ducky! I was very sad! While I was in the bathtub I realized I hadn't eaten for a while. and could not be comforted until someone gave me a bottle! Bella was very sweet and stayed by my side the whole time to make sure that I was safe and ok!
I also played in my room for the first time today! Daddy was very busy this weekend cleaning my carpet and putting my new furniture together. Mommy spent Friday doing touch up paint and details and Daddy, Jonny, Bella and Biscuit helped do the big stuff. (I will put up pictures when we finally get it all done.) I played on the floor while Bella babysat while Mommy put stuff on the walls and Daddy put my changing table together! Uncle Jonny got a super cool monitor for my room too!

My First 4th of July

The highlight of the day was putting on the very cute 4th of July onesie that Auntie Sheralyn sent me. It was so cute and comfy, I didn't even throw up on it! Daddy and Uncle Jonny had the day of at work so I got lots of bonding time in with them so Mommy could get some stuff done around the house. She worked on my room for most of the morning and afternoon, and then spent some time working on my announcements! In the evening they put me in my pack and play so they could eat burgers and brats and hot dogs; then Mommy and I sat out by the pool and watched fireworks while Daddy, Uncle Jonny and Pete went swimming and sat in the hot tub! Maybe next year we can actually go to the park and watch the show.

Some Of My New Friends

I have met so many new people! Who knew that all those muffled voices that I have heard for so long would finally have faces to go with them! Mommy's friend Kate came to visit us in the hospital and brought me my very 1st softball (Mommy was so happy! Miss Sabra came and visited us at home and my sisters absolutely loved her! She gave us all a ton of attention and lovin! Jill and Ryan are our teammates for trivia night at Pluckers. Mommy and Jill talk about work sometimes (very boring!) Jill works for UT southwestern as a lab assistant and Ryan works with Thomas for sports broadcasting. Lots of sports talk and medical talk, I should be one well rounded kid! Frank is our waiter sometimes at Pluckers, and sometimes slips us an answer or 2! I also met Mommy friend Doris from their church back in Az, she gave me lots of lovin and then was off to see more friends! I can't wait to meet more people! I heard Grandma and Grandpa were coming to see me next week and were bringing me my first ASU outfit! Mommy and Daddy are so proud!
